We invite you to get a try to the most delicious trip of your life. Armenia offers you a unique cuisine that is not repeated in any other part in the world. It reflects the elements of Caucasian cuisine but also offers its own and its specific which attracts and satisfies the guests. During this tour you may taste many Armenian national dishes, the national bread “lavash”. Of course all this are impossible to imagine without Armenian wine, which is very famous in the world.

  • Day 1: Arrival
    Arrival. Meeting at the Zvartnoc airport. Transfer to the hotel.
  • Day 2: Yerevan /city tour/
    Breakfast. We will a walking tour in Yerevan passing through the most famous streets. The tour will be continued to the famous Yerevan Brandy Factory founded in 1887. During the International Exhibition in Paris in 1900, the Armenian brandy “Ararat” received the Grand-Prix and the legal right to be called ‘cognac’, not ‘brandy’. While the tours the visitors are offered to visit the museum of the factory. The bar offers tasting of various old and chateau sort of cognacs, which have mellow-velvety flavor endowed with a rich bouquet of chocolaty-vanilla accents. We will have lunch at a traditional restaurant. We will also visit to the Monuscript musem which is called Matenadaran. Here all Armenian ancient manuscripts are kept. The dinner will be at a national restaurant where you can taste Armenian National food accompanied by folk show. In the evening we will have a walk in the Republic Square with its magnificent buildings enhanced by singing fountains. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan. (B/L/D)
  • Day 3: Culture & rural cooking
    Breakfast. Visit Garni Pagan Temple. Walk along the canyon, by the beautiful columnar basalt 9th century stone bridge over the Azat River to Garni Pagan Temple, built in the 1st Century AD. We will have lunch at the local restaurant, where you will have a unique opportunity to bake the national Armenian bread, Lavash. Lavash is special bread, which can be stored for a very long time. Our tour continues to Geghard Monastery. The exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid – 13th century. Here, you will have the chance to listen to a beautiful choir. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan. (B/L/D)
  • Day 4: Trout & wine /Yerevan-Khor Virap-Noravank-Areni-Sevan-Dilijan
    Breakfast. Today we are going to explore culinary delights of Southern Armenia. We will take trip to Khor -Virap monastery 45 km. far from Yerevan. This monastery has a very rich history, both religious and secular. The first Catholicos of Armenia who introduced Christianity to Armenia has been imprisoned there for about 13 years. At that time Armenia was a pagan country. Drive to Vayots Dzor region. We will have an excursion in Noravank monastery - a great religious and cultural centre of 12th c. Then we will visit to a traditional house in Garni village for hands-on cookery demonstration. Guided the host you will learn about the spices and utensils used in traditional barbeque. Then we will participate in the preparation of barbeque and traditional Armenian cheese. Then we will drive along the Selim Pass and get Lake Sevan. It is one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the world and is very famous for its blue water. We will also visit the monastery which is situated on Sevan Peninsula. After all we will drive to Dilijan, to a local house, where you will have chance to prepare a national Armenian meal which is called “Dolma”. Then we will taste it. Overnight in Dilijan (B/L/D)
  • Day 5: Dilijan – Ijevan - Akhtala – Yerevan
    Breakfast. We will have short city tour in the old city of Dilijan. Then we will drive to the city of Ijevan. Here we will visit the factory of white wine. Here we will have a degustation of the white wine. Then we will have a lunch in a local restaurant where we will taste the famous Armenian fish “Ishkhan”. Then we will get back to Yerevan. We will have dinner at a very beautiful restaurant. Overnight in Yerevan. (B/L/D)
  • Day 6: Yerevan – Zvartnoc – Ejmiatsin - Yerevan
    Breakfast. Drive to Echmiadzin. The Church was built between the years 301 - 303 AD under the Armenian king Tiridates III and the first Armenian Catholicos, St. Gregory the Illuminator. Stop at the ruins of Zvartnots temple - the pearl of the 7th c. architecture (inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list). The we will have lunch in the Cross of Armenian Unity. Then we will get back to Yerevan. Here we will visit the wine factory “Maran” and here we will have degustation in a traditional carpet factory “Megeryan Carpets”. Here you will get acquainted with the tradition of Armenian carpets. A very nice dinned is waiting for you here. Overnight in Yerevan. (B/L/D)
  • Day 7: Departure
    Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight. End of services.
