Abelyan’s house is a family-owned guesthouse, food experience, and restaurant in Garni village, Kotayk region. Visitors are welcome to participate in the local experiences and culinary master classes like:
– Master class Armenian national bread: lavash. It is very thin, usually sold in very large forms. It is usually cooked in a ground oven: “tonir”. In 2015 it has been inscribed in UNESCO intangible heritage list. Here we will enjoy the “Armenian fast food” with lavash and cheese.

With indoor and outdoor seating, we can accommodate up to hundred people.
Hospitality is of the utmost importance in Armenia. Our family has been hosting visitors for 4 years, beginning when we started to accept our fist visitors. This family tradition is being carried on by all the family sharing the secrets of Armenian cuisine with international visitors.
