Jour 2

Yerevan City Tour

After breakfast, begin a walking tour of Yerevan’s main landmarks, starting at Republic Square and continuing along Mashtots Avenue. Visit the impressive Opera and Ballet House and explore the Cascade Complex with its open-air art and panoramic city views. Proceed to the Matenadaran Institute of Ancient Manuscripts to discover Armenia’s literary heritage. Stop at a traditional khachkar workshop to observe stone-carving craftsmanship, then visit the Ervand Kochar Museum to explore unique modern Armenian art. End the day with a traditional dinner

Yerevan - Alaverdi - Dilijan

After breakfast, depart for the Alaverdi region, stopping at the Armenian Alphabet Park, a tribute to the creation of the Armenian script. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Sanahin and Haghpat monasteries, stunning 10th–14th century masterpieces of Armenian medieval architecture set on a high plateau separated by a river gorge. Explore their churches, khachkars, and ancient learning centers before continuing through scenic northern landscapes. Arrive in Dilijan for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by forests and mountain views.

Dilijan - Sevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan

Start in Dilijan with a walking city tour along the charming Sharamberyan Street, known for its traditional architecture and artisan atmosphere. Continue to Lake Sevan and visit the historic Sevanavank Monastery, set on a scenic peninsula. Travel onward to Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia, and explore the nearby Symphony of Stones by jeep. Visit the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, partly carved into the cliffs. Enjoy a traditional lavash baking master class with lunch before returning to Yerevan for the evening.

Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank

After breakfast, visit the iconic Khor Virap Monastery with breathtaking views of Mount Ararat. Continue to the stunning Noravank Monastery, set in a dramatic red-rock gorge. Proceed to Areni village, where you’ll enjoy a local wine tasting and traditional lunch. Take part in a barbecue master class to experience authentic Armenian flavors, then meet a duduk master to learn about the soulful national instrument. In the afternoon, return to your destination after a day filled with culture, cuisine, and scenic landscapes.

Yerevan - Ejmiatsin - Zvartnoc

Starting with breakfast, head to the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Ejmiatsin and Zvartnots. Visit the Cathedral of Ejmiatsin, founded in 303 AD and the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians. Continue to the 7th-century Zvartnots Temple ruins with its unique circular architecture. Return to Yerevan for Ararat Cognac Factory tour and tasting, then finish with dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
