Hanqavan

Definitely the most popular hot spring in Armenia is the one in Hanqavan which has the most valuable therapeutic properties. The thermal spring is at an altitude of 1900m above sea level, in Kotayk region, 30 kms away from Tsakhkadzor (resort town). The water is of hydro-chloride sodium type. The temperature is about 42°C.  There are 3 pools built with capacity of accommodating 5 people in each of them.
