Hells canyon

Hells Canyon is located near the border of Nakhichevan, in the south-eastern part of Ararat province, in Armenia. Aratso River starts from the slopes of Gndasar Mountains, running through the south-eastern part of Urts Mountain Range flows into Araks River. The canyon is considered one of the most beautiful canyons in Armenia, but difficult to cross. The slopes are bare, rocky and steep. There are many karst caves and cavities. The place is ideal for climbing.
