Jermuk is a city with many natural wonders, beautiful landscapes and sceneries. The nature here has been the inspiration for many painters. The exhibition of Jermuk Art Gallery which was established in 1972 shows the big cultural heritage Soviet-Armenian times. The permanent exhibition includes about 100 paintings and sculptures of the 1920-1990’s. Guests of Jermuk can view the genre and diverse subject works by famous Armenian painters M. Sarian, V. Gaifejian, H. Galentz, H. Hagopian, M. Petrosian and others. Various cultural events are regularly organized, including exhibitions, memory morning performances, lectures and workshops.
