The ropeway of Tsaghkadzor has opened its hospitable doors to the visitors who like active rest and also to the visitors who like to have a rest in the lap of nature. We are ready to make your day full of unforgettable and wonderful moments. The armchaired ropeway of Tsaghkadzor is located on the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis, 1966-2819 meters above sea level. It started functioning since 1967.
From the height of 2819 meters the speedy chairlift will take you where the unmatched beauty of Armenia is opened to you and if you are lucky enough to have good weather you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Mount Ararat. In 2004 the Italian company “LEITNER” replaced the former ropeway with a new, modern ropeway. Now the ropeway and ski slopes are equipped with the best equipment, which guarantees active and safe rest for the visitors and fans of ski racing. There are also bar-cafes around and emergency, first aid, training and other services are always available.
