Visit a workshop and explore Gyumri with a local artist – Provided by My Armenia

Gyumri is the eternal homeland of arts and crafts and its many artists and talented craftsmen come to prove it. Albert Vardanyan and his two sons, Hrachya Vardanyan and Avetik Vardanyan, are three of Gyumri’s are the great representatives of developed culture of their city. They are sculptors and painters.  In their home- studio, located in the village of Akhuryan, just six kilometers away from Gyumri they offer a tour and master class of their arts

Albert works with a great variety of materials, like wax, gypsum, stone, clay, and bronze.

The eldest son Hrachya is a painter and mixed-media artist whose works are also exhibits worldwide. The youngest son Avetik is an architect, who draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including Gyumri architecture, local stone, wood, natural landscapes, and Christianity. Do not miss the chance to visit them to admire the works of art of the talented trio of this family and of course fantastic biscuits made by the hostess.
