From Yerevan: Saghmosavank – Hovhanavank – Alphabet park – Amberd

Departure to Aragatsotn region. Visit Saghmosavank monastery, which is on the edge of a big gorge making the scenery just fantastic. Continue the trip to Hovhannavank – a medieval monastic complex situated on the right bank of Kasakh River, in the eastern part of Ohanavan village, Aragatsotn region․ It was a prominent spiritual and cultural center of medieval Armenia. Visit Armenian Alphabet monument. Be headed
towards medieval and mysterious Amberd fortress (7th-13th centuries AD), which is amazingly built on the slope of Mount Aragats (4091 meters above sea level). Drive back to Yerevan.
