Tatever Ropeway

Tatever Ropeway is a 5.7 km cableway between Halidzor village and Tatev Monastery in the south of Armenia. It is the longest non-stop reversible aerial tramway that holds the world record for the “longest non-stop double track cable car”. Construction was finished in 16 October 2010. The link allows year-round access to Armenia’s 9th century monastic complex Tatev, one of the most prominent religious centres and a major tourist attraction of the country.

It starts from the village of Halidzor. With Wings of Tatev you’ll experience the shortest, most picturesque and impressive route to Tatev Monastery and the longest reversible cableway in the world (5752m), recorded in the Guinness Book of Records and just twelve minutes of unforgettable flight above the ravine of the fierce Vorotan river.
