Tnjri is a 2,200- year old oldest tree, which is the highest and the oldest in the territory of CIS. It is in lowlands of Skhtorashen of Vananda region in Artsakh Republic. According to legend, the tree was planted by Tigran the Great. There were also 15 branches from the same tree։ designed for each region of historical Armenia, but all branches except Artsakh have dried up.
The hollow is 44 sq/m. The perimeter of the tree hollow is 27m, the height is 54m. The shadow of the giant tree is 1400 sq/m. The leaves of the tree reach to 0,5m.
