Agape Refectory

Agape is a one of a kind Restaurant with authentic armenian cuisine that has been hosting guests since the 17th century. It is located near The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin: an integral part of the Armenian identity and spiritual life and also one of the most significant and breathtaking pieces of Armenian architecture. The building is protected by UNESCO and is one of the oldest restaurant in the caucasus region.
The Refectory is run by a young armenian couple who repatriated to their homeland and decided to give life to this unique Architectural and Historic treasure. Visiting Agape* is a wonderful cultural and gastronomic experience for its guests.
*Agape is a Greco-Christian term referring to love, “the highest form of love, charity” and “the love of God for man and of man for God”. Within Christianity, agape is considered to be the love originating from God or Christ for mankind.
